Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and have a keen eye for detail. Previous restaurant or bar experience is desirable, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. All positions are paid, including internship opportunities, ensuring fair compensation for your efforts.

Duties

Serve a wide range of beverages and light snacks to guests in a friendly and efficient manner Take orders accurately and process payments using the point-of-sale system Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards Prepare simple food items and garnishes as required, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing excellent guest service Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking identification and adhering to licensing laws Assist with stock replenishment and inventory management to ensure smooth operations Provide guest services by answering questions, offering recommendations, and creating a welcoming atmosphere

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or similar roles is advantageous Knowledge of food safety regulations and basic food preparation skills Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities to handle busy periods effectively Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing and stock control purposes Kitchen or culinary experience is beneficial but not essential; willingness to learn is key Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour Ability to upsell menu items tactfully to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales potential Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment
