Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves providing exceptional guest service in a lively and welcoming environment, ensuring that all patrons enjoy a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. Responsibilities

Serve drinks and beverages accurately and efficiently to guests at the bar and tables Take orders and provide recommendations on drinks and menu items, upselling where appropriate Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with legal requirements Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including garnishing drinks or preparing simple snacks Provide exceptional guest service by engaging with customers professionally and courteously Manage multiple tasks effectively during busy periods through strong time management skills Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and recognise signs of intoxication or inappropriate behaviour

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or bar service is essential, Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous Excellent communication and guest service skills with a friendly demeanour Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods Good organisational skills with attention to detail Experience in culinary settings or kitchen environments is a plus but not mandatory Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively
