Job Summary

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards. Greet guests warmly and take orders efficiently, ensuring prompt service. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glasses, cleaning surfaces, and restocking supplies. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies. Upsell drinks and promotional items to maximise sales opportunities. Manage cash register operations accurately, including handling payments and giving correct change. Monitor guest behaviour to promote a safe environment and prevent over-serving. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar work is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities. Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy hours. Experience in food preparation or culinary settings is a plus. A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills and contribute positively to the team.
