Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Supervisor / Manager to lead our VIP bar and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and bar management, with a passion for beverage service. This role requires a blend of leadership and a commitment to maintaining high standards of drink safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to health and safety regulations. Manage inventory and maintaining stock levels. Train, supervise, and motivate bar staff to deliver outstanding service while fostering a positive team environment. Develop creative drink menus Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations in all aspects of drink preparation. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times. Monitor financial performance, including sales targets and budget management. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring it meets health standards.

Experience

Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting. Working in a fast paced nightclub environment. Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Previous experience as a mixologist is advantageous but not essential.
