We're looking for a
Bar Supervisor / Bar Manager
who loves people, loves drinks, and loves creating a great atmosphere. Someone friendly, down-to-earth, cheery and calm -- who naturally makes guests feel welcome and ensures everyone has a great time.
Alongside leading the bar, this role also includes
House Manager / Duty Manager
shifts on quieter evenings or when supporting the wider team. It's a great fit for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in what they do, and is happy holding the house when needed.
The Role
This is a
hands-on, on-the-floor role
where you'll spend most of your time behind the bar or out with guests -- setting the tone, keeping things flowing, and making sure the house feels warm, lively, and well looked after.
On busier evenings, you'll focus on leading the bar and team. On quieter shifts, you'll take on a broader hosting role -- welcoming guests, supporting check-ins, and making sure everyone feels looked after.
What you'll be doing:
Running the bar with warmth, energy, and a big smile
Making and serving
great cocktails and drinks
, consistently and with care
Creating a relaxed, inviting ambience -- from music and lighting to pace of service
Welcoming guests, seating tables, and proactively serving when things are quieter
Supporting guest check-ins and handling guest questions when acting as Duty Manager
Leading and supporting the team to keep service smooth and friendly
Managing bar stock and ordering to keep quality high and waste low
Making sure drinks are presented consistently and to standard
Completing end-of-shift duties, including cash-ups, close-downs, and adding house accounts correctly
Leaving the building clean, safe, and ready for the next day
About You
You're naturally warm, friendly, and confident -- the kind of person guests enjoy chatting to. You care about drinks that are
well made rather than showy
, and you love creating an atmosphere where people feel relaxed, welcome, and happy to stay for another round.
You take pride in your work, enjoy leading by example, and understand that great hospitality is as much about
how people feel
as what's in the glass.
This role would suit you if you:
Have solid bar experience, ideally with some supervisory responsibility
Love cocktails, drinks, and good service (without being pretentious)
Are organised, reliable, and happy taking responsibility
Enjoy leading a team while staying hands-on
Are comfortable supporting wider house operations when needed
Stay calm, positive, and friendly -- even on busy nights
