St Herbert's Parish Centre , 148 Broadway, Chadderton, Oldham, OL9 0JY. Some flexibility will be required to work across other SDC sites on occasion.
Salary & Benefits:
13.91 per hour, plus statutory holiday pay entitlement.
About:
St Herbert's Parish Centre is seeking an experienced and dependable Bar Supervisor to oversee beverage operations at our vibrant venue that regularly hosts large events, weddings, receptions, and various social functions for a diverse community. As the Bar Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient and responsible bar service while maintaining the highest standards of safety, hospitality, and customer service.
What we are looking for:
The post holder must be willing to work on a flexible basis and be able to function seamlessly within and supervise a small bar staff. They must be rapidly adaptable and able to make decisions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The successful candidate will have the confidence and competence to be accountable for the security of the building. manage all cash transactions within company guidelines and ensure Health & Safety measures are equipped, understood, and followed.
What you will need:
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a bar supervisory or similar hospitality role. They will have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills and ability to manage a team under pressure during high-capacity events. They will have a strong understanding of alcoholic beverage service regulations and licensing requirements.
