We are seeking an experienced and dynamic

Bar Manager

to oversee the daily operations of our bar and restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive hospitality experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food and beverage quality, maintaining safety standards, and creating a welcoming environment for guests. The successful applicant will play a vital role in driving the success of our establishment through effective team management and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all bar and restaurant staff to ensure smooth service delivery Manage inventory levels, ensure proper storage of beverages Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols Lead by example in delivering outstanding hospitality and customer service Organise staff rotas, monitor performance, and provide training to enhance team skills Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to maximise revenue Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment within the bar area

Experience

Proven supervising experience within a hospitality setting, preferably in bars or restaurants Experience in food preparation, cooking, serving, and hospitality management Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations relevant to the hospitality industry Previous pub or bar experience is essential Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
