Gunner Tavern is on the lookout for

two experienced and passionate Bar Supervisors

to join our crew.

We're a busy, city-centre pub known for our love of

quality draught beer

expertly kept cask ales

. If you've got a sharp eye for detail, a cool head under pressure, and a deep knowledge of what makes a truly great drink - we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing:

Supporting the management team in the day-to-day running of the bar Opening and closing the venue, including full cashing up and end-of-day procedures Leading shifts and delivering top-tier customer service across the board Maintaining high standards in cellar management - from perfect pints to pristine lines Training and mentoring team members on draught, cask, and spirits Assisting with stock control, ordering, and venue presentation Ensuring health, safety, and hygiene procedures are always met

What We're Looking For:

Previous supervisory or senior bar experience

Strong knowledge of draught systems, cask ale conditioning, and premium spirits

Confident with opening, closing, and cash handling A natural leader with solid communication and team-building skills A passion for hospitality and genuine enthusiasm for the drinks industry Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and high-volume shifts
