We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant to join our vibrant team. Duties

Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards Operate coffee machines and prepare a variety of coffee drinks as a skilled barista Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including dining spaces and kitchen Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations when necessary Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using basic math skills Ensure all food items are stored correctly and adhere to health regulations Make fresh sandwich/toasties/salads to order Assit in keeping kitchen clean Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods

Skills

Knowledge of food safety practices is essential Food hygeine cert Basic food prep Previous barista experience is highly desirable Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction Experience in food preparation techniques Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently
