Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and customer service, ensuring that every customer has a delightful experience. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items while maintaining a clean and organised workspace. This is a weekend based roll, with some additonal shifts in the week.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the cafe. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any queries or concerns. Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and efficiently. Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Maintain inventory levels of supplies and communicate any shortages to management. Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math calculations for change. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Requirements

Previous barista experience is essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable, Level 2 Food Hygiene, Allergen Trained Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Excellent time management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A friendly disposition with the ability to work well as part of a team. Pay: From 12.50 per hour
