Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Bid Administrator to assist our bidding department in the preparation and submission of PQQs and tenders. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career growth and development.

You will gain valuable experience across a broad range of civil engineering projects while developing a set of skills applicable across various industries.

Based in our Head Office, Motherwell, Monday to Friday on a full time permanent basis.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience



Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask. trong PC literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office suite (SharePoint, Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint). Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively and support the bid team.

Personal Traits



Self-motivated. Ability to build trust and collaborate as part of a team through an open and honest approach.

The Role:



Experience or interest in using SharePoint for document management. An understanding of the construction or Civil Engineering industry (not required but beneficial). Assist in coordinating and submitting high-quality, compliant tenders and pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs) within deadlines. Support the writing, proofreading, and reviewing of pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ) and tender responses to ensure clarity and completeness. Help maintain tender tracking spreadsheets and monitor procurement portals for new opportunities. Assist in obtaining and distributing tender documents, clarifications, and updates to relevant teams. Contribute to the maintenance and updating of the company's knowledge repository. Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, and document management. Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations as needed
