As we continue to expand, we're seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive new customer acquisition.

The Role



The Business Development Manager will be responsible for engaging with high-quality inbound leads while also generating their own new business opportunities. You'll be a consultative seller, identifying client needs and showing how ShopWired can be the best-fit eCommerce solution.

Key Responsibilities



Manage and convert inbound leads into paying customers through discovery calls, demos, and tailored proposals. Proactively generate new leads via outbound activity (LinkedIn, cold outreach, email campaigns, networking). Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline to consistently achieve targets. Build trusted relationships with SME owners, retailers, and decision-makers. Accurately forecast and report activity, maintaining up-to-date records in the CRM. Represent ShopWired at virtual and in-person events where required.

Skills & Experience



Proven track record in B2B sales or business development (ideally SaaS, eCommerce, or digital solutions). Comfortable handling both inbound leads and outbound prospecting. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Self-motivated and target-driven with resilience to overcome challenges. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities. Tech-savvy, with the ability to quickly learn and demonstrate SaaS products.

What We Offer



Competitive base salary

: 45,000 DOE.

Uncapped commission

: Realistic OTE 70,000 - 90,000+. Fully remote working. Opportunities to progress within a fast-growing SaaS business. Ongoing sales training and support.
