We\'re excited to share an opportunity for an ambitious, creative and talented individual looking to expand their buying career.

We have a really exciting opportunity looking for a Buying Assistant on Branded Womenswear. You\'ll report directly into the Assistant Buyer for the area, so lots of opportunity to further develop your skills.

About the role.

Reporting into an Assistant Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in managing the department\'s critical path, whilst undertaking administrative support for the buying function.

We\'re looking for a Buying Assistant who can demonstrate a strong understanding and passion for branded buying, is highly organised and has the ability to work quickly and efficiently in an everchanging retail environment.

The skills and behaviours imperative to being a successful BA candidate here at The Very Group are; commercially aware, able to build relationships, passionate with strong communication skills, can demonstrate initiative, enjoys problem solving and interpreting data, excellent attention to detail.

About You. * Previous experience in Buying as a Buying Assistant or Buyers Admin Assistant is beneficial but not essential

  • Positive, enthusiastic and a team player with an open-minded approach
  • Eager to learn and develop skills within branded buying
  • A great interest in fashion with an understanding of the Very Womenswear customer
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workload
  • Proficient in Excel
