We are looking for a bright and friendly person to join our Cafe!

Some of the roles you will carry out includes; Making desserts, drinks, coffee, table serving customers, cleaning tables and work area.

Our cafe atmosphere is very cozy, inviting customers to come and enjoy their daily coffee, students who are looking for a good place to finish off their essays, new customers who want to try out Korean desserts!

All of our cafe team members are super nice, easy to talk to and also there is a great atmosphere between our members bringing a very family-like aura.

Role and responsibilities:

Welcoming Customers

Greet customers warmly as they enter the cafe.

Informing Patrons About Menu Items, Specials, Events, and Products or Services

Explain the menu items, daily specials, and ongoing promotions.

Answer any questions customers have about the ingredients and preparation of menu items.

Provide information about upcoming events and any additional products or services offered by the cafe.

Taking Orders and Accurately Entering Them into the Ordering System

Take customers' food and drink orders promptly and accurately.

Input orders into the cafe's ordering system to ensure they are prepared correctly.

Operating Coffee Machines and Other Equipment

Prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages using the appropriate equipment.

Ensure machines are properly calibrated and maintained for optimal performance.

Assessing the Condition of the Facilities and Equipment

Regularly check the condition of the cafe's facilities and equipment.

Report any issues or malfunctions to management.

Operating the Cash Register, Accurately Handling Cash or Cashless Transactions, and Providing Payment Receipts

Process customer payments accurately, whether in cash, credit, or other forms of payment.

Provide customers with receipts and handle any necessary cash register operations.

Ensuring the Food and Other Ingredients are Fresh

Check the freshness and quality of food ingredients and supplies.

Rotate stock to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage.

Maintaining a Hygienic Environment by Cleaning Surfaces and Equipment Regularly

Clean and sanitize tables, countertops, and other surfaces regularly.

Ensure all equipment is cleaned and maintained according to health and safety standards.

Clearing Plates and Cutlery from Tables to Prepare for Incoming Customers

Clear and clean tables promptly after customers leave.

Reset tables with clean cutlery, plates, and glassware for the next customers.

Washing Dishes and Sweeping the Floor

Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed.

Sweep and mop floors to keep the cafe clean and presentable.

Tracking Inventory Levels to Ensure the Cafe Has an Adequate Supply

Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies.

Inform management when stock is low and needs to be reordered.

Opening or Closing the Establishment

Follow opening procedures to prepare the cafe for the day, including setting up equipment and preparing the workspace.

Perform closing duties, such as cleaning, securing the premises, and ensuring everything is ready for the next day.

Responding to Customer Questions, Feedback, or Complaints

Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.

Strive to resolve any issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour
