Office Manager- Children's Home
Role Overview:
The Office Manager will oversee procurement, property maintenance, budgeting, and assist in business expansion. This role acts as a key point of coordination between the Director and home leadership, with the Responsible Individual (RI) and Registered Manager (RM) reporting to the Office Manager in matters related to resource management and procurement and operational support. The Office Manager will report directly to the Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage procurement of equipment, supplies, and services for the home, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Oversee and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the home to ensure high standards are maintained.
Develop and manage operational budgets in collaboration with the Director.
Monitor expenditure and produce regular financial summaries.
Support the Director in identifying and coordinating new business opportunities and expansion activities.
Maintain office systems and provide administrative leadership to support service delivery.
Essential Skills & Attributes:
Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
Effective leadership and coordination abilities.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office software.
Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and deliver results efficiently.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 21.00-23.00 per hour
