About the Role

We are looking for a

Deputy Manager who is ready to take the next step into a Registered Manager position

.
This is an opportunity for someone ambitious and passionate, who already has strong deputy-level experience and wants to develop into a home leader.

You will be supported and mentored by our senior leadership team as you transition into the Registered Manager role, with full training and guidance to ensure your success.

As Deputy Manager (with a clear pathway to Registered Manager), you will:

Support the Registered Manager in leading and inspiring the home. Take on increasing responsibility for decision-making and regulatory compliance. Be a role model for your team, creating a safe, nurturing and enriching environment. Put safeguarding, wellbeing, and independence at the heart of every decision. Develop your leadership skills to confidently step into full Registered Manager responsibilities.
What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

Already be working as a

Deputy Manager in a children's home

and ready to progress. Hold (or be working towards) a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Residential Childcare). Have solid experience supporting children with challenging behaviours, including mental health and behavioural needs. Demonstrate knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations 2015, Quality Standards, and safeguarding practices. Have a full UK driving licence. Show ambition, resilience, and a commitment to developing into a successful Registered Manager.
