Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and preparation, demonstrating exceptional cooking skills and a commitment to food safety. Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation processes. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative work environment. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, showcasing creativity and attention to detail. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen protocols. Develop new menu items in line with seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a similar Chef role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques. Supervising experience is essential, with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Previous experience in food production and kitchen management is highly desirable. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for hospitality and delivering an outstanding dining experience. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams. Pay: 14.21-16.21 per hour
