We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations in a dynamic hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As Bar Manager, you will be responsible for managing our small team of bar staff, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and maintaining a high standard of service.
Schedule
Every Thursday 6.00pm til 11.00pm, Friday & Saturday, 5.30pm til 12.00 midnight which is a minimum of 23 hours per week. We may also have hours available on other evenings, as well as event, holiday and sickness cover so require the right applicant to be flexible!
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the bar team, providing training and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers and wines according to established recipes and standards.
Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations.
Maintain inventory levels, ordering stock and supplies as needed while minimising waste.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures for bar operations.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the bar area.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner to enhance guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
Experience in a bar management role within the hospitality industry.
Knowledge of food preparation, food safety practices, and culinary trends.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with staff and guests alike.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
