Fenestration Project Coordinator / Surveyor

to join our growing team, working on major projects as well as projects of a high technical or logistical complexity.

Sherwood Aluminium Systems Ltd is a long-established, reputable manufacturer with a growing UK presence, offering a comprehensive range of commercial fenestration products including aluminium windows, doors, curtain walling, and entrance systems.

The Role:

As a Fenestration Project Coordinator / Surveyor, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of major projects, from inception through to completion. This role involves nationwide travel and requires a candidate with excellent technical knowledge, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct site surveys to obtain manufacturing sizes, enabling our drawing office to produce accurate construction/manufacturing drawings. Order materials and manage procurement activities for assigned projects. Liaise closely with main contractors, subcontractors, fabricators, and customers. Manage and coordinate multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely completion within agreed deadlines. Communicate regularly with site management teams and attend site meetings as required. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers. Monitor project progress, address issues proactively, and ensure all aspects of the project run smoothly. Ensure compliance with company standards, client specifications, and health & safety regulations.

Key Skills & Experience:

Proven experience of working within the fenestration and glazing industry. Strong understanding of procurement and contract elements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional and positive approach with strong relationship-building abilities. Highly organised with great attention to detail. Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Full UK driving licence essential. CSCS card holder. Flexibility to travel nationwide, including Wales and Scotland, as projects require.
