Job Summary:-



We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by carrying out administrative tasks, supporting sales administration, and maintaining effective communication within the team. This position requires proficiency in various software applications, time management skills, and a strong command of English.

Salary:-



22,780 to 23,387 per annum (12.52 to 12.85 per hour)
Dependent on qualifications and experience

Hours:-



35.0 per week (Mon-Thurs 08:15 - 16:15 / Fri 08:15 - 13:15)

The Role:-



Carry out daily administration tasks, including maintaining records and processing orders. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing enquiries and resolving issues promptly. Utilise Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel to manage correspondence, schedules, and documentation. Collaborate with team members to improve office processes and enhance productivity. Liaise and collaborate with other departments. Answer the telephone promptly and courteously. Provide administrative cover in any other department, as deemed necessary by the Sales Co-ordinator, or a Director. Ensure the correct flow of paperwork for activities within the control of any department being worked in. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Compliance with Company safety procedures and housekeeping requirements.

Experience, Skills & Attributes:-



Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks. Previous experience in customer service or sales administration is advantageous. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
