Summary

We are seeking a Commis to join our culinary team at Best Western Calcot Hotel. In this role, you will assist in food preparation and ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality. Your contributions will be vital in delivering outstanding dining experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of meals according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Support chefs in food production tasks as required. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene practices. Help with inventory management and stock rotation. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred. Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards. Strong teamwork skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn. Good communication skills to effectively interact with kitchen staff.
