We are seeking a proactive individual who can take ownership of compliance and operational support across our office, ensuring safety, quality, environmental and documentation standards are consistently met and improved.

This is a junior role within our team, offering hands-on development and close exposure to SHEQ, compliance and operational activities across the business. Support and guidance will be provided, but the role requires someone who can research requirements, think critically, and put forward practical solutions -- not simply identify issues.

The Role



Reporting to the Internal Operations Director, you will support our team by managing documentation, compliance records, and operational workflows. You will work across the business, ensuring safety, quality, environmental and compliance requirements are met efficiently and consistently for our customers.

Key Responsibilities



Project & Operational Support



Prepare RAMS, lifting plans, induction packs, weekly reports and O&M manuals Manage document control, versioning and digital file structures Support the wider office team wherever additional capacity is required Independently coordinate ad-hoc internal projects, bringing together multiple workstreams and implementing improved processes

SHEQ, Compliance & Accreditation



Maintain CHAS, SafeContractor, Constructionline and other accreditation records Support ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliance, including internal audits, NCR tracking and training records Ensure documentation meets customer, contractual and legislative requirements

Health, Safety & Quality Documentation



Maintain accurate HSEQ records and safety documentation Apply and understand RAMS, TILE, lifting plans and construction H&S terminology Review and improve safety and quality documentation templates

Systems & Reporting



Become the internal point of expertise for Simpro and Tier 1 customer portals (e.g. Autodesk ACC, Asite) Produce accurate reports and digital records for internal and customer use Identify opportunities to streamline workflows through better use of digital systems

Continuous Improvement



Analyse complex requirements and translate them into practical, workable solutions Review existing processes and propose improvements to increase efficiency and quality Take ownership of developing more effective documentation and operational systems

About You



Essential



Minimum 12 months' office-based experience in a construction environment (H&S, project coordination, document control, SHEQ, construction administration or similar) Experience working with RAMS or site H&S documentation Strong written English with excellent attention to detail Ability to interpret requirements logically and identify gaps or risks Confident learner with the ability to adopt new systems quickly Experience using customer document portals (ACC, Asite or similar) Professional, reliable and comfortable working independently Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

Desirable



Exposure to ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001 Experience supporting audits or accreditation schemes

This Role Is Not For You If



You are purely site-based with no office or documentation experience You are a generic administrator with no construction compliance background Your written or spoken English is weak or your CV contains errors You cannot give examples of improving a process or solving a documentation problem You require close or constant supervision
