CPC Qualified Transport Manager - Powered Access

We're seeking a proactive and experienced Transport Manager with a valid CPC qualification to lead and optimise our transport operations. As a key part of our powered access business, you'll ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant movement of equipment across our delivery network.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily transport operations, ensuring compliance with DVSA and company standards. Manage a fleet of delivery vehicles and drivers, including scheduling, routing, and maintenance. Maintain and update transport documentation, including tachograph analysis, driver hours, and vehicle inspections. Ensure all transport activities meet legal and safety requirements. Liaise with internal teams and customers to coordinate timely deliveries and collections. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Support driver training and development, including CPC and health & safety.

What We're Looking For:

Valid CPC qualification and proven experience in transport management. Strong knowledge of transport legislation and compliance. Experience in plant hire, powered access, or construction logistics (preferred). Excellent organisational and leadership skills. Proficient in transport management systems and Microsoft Office. Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly.
