We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Criminal Solicitor or Duty Qualified Criminal Solicitor to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in criminal matters.

- Handle a varied caseload, including but not limited to, defense for criminal charges, advice at the police station, and representation in court.

- Conduct case reviews, preparing legal documents and briefs as necessary.

- Liaise with clients, witnesses, experts, and other legal professionals.

- Attend court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings on behalf of clients.

- Stay updated on changes in criminal law and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

- Assist in the development of client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.

Requirements:

- Qualified solicitor with a valid practicing certificate.

- Experience in criminal law is essential; prior experience as a Duty Solicitor is preferred.

- Strong knowledge of criminal legislation and legal procedures.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a busy caseload.

- A client-focused approach with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 50,000.00-60,000.00 per year
