Job Description

Phoenix Adolescent Care is looking for a Deputy Manager to join the team, in our Children's residential provision.

The main duties of the role are to:

- Leading and supporting the staff team

- Ensuring positive outcomes are achieved for our young people

- Ensuring compliance and assisting with monthly reg 44 visits

- Good communication skills with all professionals, good written skills and ability to complete internal reports, and checks in the home

- Ensuring young people's internal paperwork is completed and updated regulalry

- Good problem solving skills

- Supporting the development of the staff team

- Good level of IT skills and ability to work with young people who present with emotional and behavioural difficulties

Requirements:

- Two years experience of working in residential childcare

- Level 4 NVQ

- Experience of supervising and mentoring the staff team

- Driving licence

Work Schedule:

Monday- Friday

- with the availability to pick up extra shifts if required.

15/16 per hour based on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 15.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 - 40 per week
