Deputy Manager

About the Role

Deputy Manager

, you will work alongside the Registered Manager to ensure the effective day-to-day running of our domiciliary care operations. You'll provide essential support in both hands-on care and administrative leadership, helping us deliver care that champions dignity, choice, independence, and fulfilment.

This position arises from a recent service restructure and is ideal for someone looking to grow their leadership in a supportive, progressive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with operational and staff management. Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives. Ensure care plans and risk assessments are person-centred and compliant. Perform quality assurance checks and staff supervisions. Manage rotas, digital records, and care delivery standards. Support client communication, medication protocols, and budget adherence. Participate in on-call duties and service audits.

About You

Essential:

Minimum Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification.

Preferred:

Level 4/5 QCF or willingness to achieve it. Experience in domiciliary care and understanding of CIW regulations. Confident leader with excellent IT, time management, and decision-making skills. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle required.

Working Pattern

Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts with a 20-minute unpaid break. Flexibility required to meet service needs, including evenings, weekends, and on-call support.

Pay: 28,000.00-30,000.00 per year
