Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Deputy Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage daily operations effectively. As the Deputy Manager, you will support the overall management of the nursery, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for all children.

Responsibilities



Assist in managing the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Support the development and implementation of educational programmes that promote children's learning and development. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress and any concerns. Lead and motivate staff to deliver high-quality childcare services while fostering a positive team environment. Manage resources efficiently, including staff schedules, materials, and equipment. Ensure a safe and clean environment for children by adhering to health and safety standards. Monitor children's behaviour and development, providing guidance as needed to support their growth. Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's reputation within the community.

Requirements



Proven experience in early childhood education or childcare settings, preferably within a nursery environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development. Ability to drive initiatives that improve service quality and operational efficiency. Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare are desirable but not mandatory. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organisational skills.

Pay: 26,000.00 per year
