Position Summary:



FTC - 6 Month with potential to extend.

The E-Commerce Assistant will support the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce department, contributing to product listings, content creation, campaign execution, and customer experience. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, a proactive mindset, and a passion for digital commerce.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Support:



Assist with uploading and maintaining product listings across the website. Support pricing updates and product launches in collaboration with the Purchasing Assistant. Help monitor website performance and flag issues or opportunities for improvement.

Content & Campaign Execution



Work with content and SEO specialists to implement marketing campaigns and product promotions. Assist in preparing visual assets with the photography/videography team. Ensure product pages are accurate, engaging, and aligned with brand standards. Use analytics tools to understand customer behaviour and suggest improvements.

Ecommerce Administration:



Update the website when required to support the team. Manage inactive products to ensure internal KPIs are met. Undertake supportive administration on the website during launches and high demand times. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve customer experience.

Team Communication & Collaboration



Team Contribution & Communication:

Participate actively in team huddles and contribute to brainstorming sessions for campaign ideas and strategies. Collaborate with the wider team to ensure cohesive operations.

Performance Tracking:

Work diligently to achieve and exceed departmental KPIs, contributing to the overall success of the team and organization.

Staff Meeting:

Present your section's performance, insights, and key updates at monthly staff meetings. Ensure that the team is informed about market trends, pricing strategies, and inventory levels to align with overall business objectives.

Consistently work towards achieving the company's mission and upholding our core values by ensuring that your actions and decisions contribute positively to the overall goals of the business.

Proactive Improvement:

Health and Safety



Adhere to company health and safety policies, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and customers. Report any health and safety concerns to the relevant department or manager.

Security



Follow all security protocols to ensure the safety of high-value products and customer information. Maintain strict confidentiality in all dealings with customer data and company operations.

Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance



Ensure full compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, including verifying customer identity when necessary. Report any suspicious activity to the MLR Officers, and assist in the monitoring of transactions as required by law.

Skills and Qualifications:



Education:

A-levels or equivalent; degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is a plus.

Experience:

1-2 years in e-commerce, retail, or digital marketing preferred.

Technical Skills:

Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and basic analyitic tools

Communication:

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Organisation:

Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Teamwork:

Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn.
