with a knack for organisation and a positive, independent spirit? Metal Clay, a leading European metal clay supplier, is looking for an additional

full-time E-commerce Customer Support & Office Assistant

to join our small, friendly, family-owned team.

We're looking for someone to join the team as soon as possible.

What you'll do:



This varied role focuses on

customer support via email and phone

, along with some

office and stock support (and possible marketing or e-commerce support if you have a talent in this?)

. Responsibilities include:

Providing excellent customer service for product and order inquiries, mainly via email. Managing shipping software and order systems. Liaising with couriers and suppliers. Assisting with stock, dispatch, and website updates. Supporting events and studio prep. Providing admin support for our certification team. Maintaining a tidy workspace.

Important

- about 75% of your time will be spent on customer service as described above. Depending on your strengths, the remaining 25% may be spent assisting with marketing, e-commerce, or stock related activities depending on your strengths and what is required to keep the business running smoothly.

Being a small team, there will be times when you'll be asked to do other things outside your job role. Our team is flexible and always willing to step outside our roles when needed.

Excellent communication, reading, and writing skills

(including grammar and spelling as much of our customer communication is via email). Proactive, self-motivated, and able to

manage your time and workload efficiently

Computer savvy

and a decently quick typist. Enjoys

independently owning

tasks and responsibilities. Calm, focused, and positive even under pressure.

Bonus points if you have experience with:

E-commerce/mail-order company, FreshDesk/ticketing systems, Shipstation/SendCloud, BigCommerce, Social Media Marketing, and knowledge of jewellery making/metal clay/resin. Tell us more about these!

Mon-Fri 9:00-16:30 (for the right person there may be some minor flexibility)

Pay: 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
