Job Overview:



RAPID International are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Engineering Quality and Dispatch Coordinator to coordinate and undertake quality inspection and dispatch operations. This role requires strong leadership, analytical, and organisational skills to ensure products meet strict quality standards and are dispatched efficiently and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:



Quality Coordination:



Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure product compliance. Ensure all products comply with internal specifications and customer requirements. Lead quality inspection activities across production processes and final product output. Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and standards. Monitor quality performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues. Maintain inspection and testing records, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and quality documentation.

Dispatch Coordination:



Plan, schedule, and coordinate all dispatch activities to ensure timely delivery of equipment Lead labelling, packing and loading operations in accordance with safety guidelines. Liaise with logistics and transport teams to ensure smooth dispatch processes Maintain accurate dispatch documentation Manage communication with site teams regarding delivery timelines, shipment status, and concerns.

Qualifications:



Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Strong knowledge of quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean principles).

The Person:



3+ years of experience in a quality assurance and/or logistics coordination role within a heavy manufacturing or engineering environment Attention to detail and strong analytical skills Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities Effective verbal and written communication
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 17.50-19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
