Oversee the delivery and success of the C.L.E.A.N and other relevant projects. This will include, but is not limited to, providing leadership, ensuring deliverables are achieved, team members are managed, risks are managed and reported effectively, budgets and resources are effectively allocated, and relationships with local residents, stakeholders and funders are further enhanced.
Manage and support staff and volunteers, in providing a range of environmental and physical activities and services, and where appropriate refer to other specialist support, both external and internal, if required.
Ensure services are delivered to a high quality, complying with regulatory requirements, and reflecting good practice, incorporating customer feedback, and maintaining the environment-related Quality Improvement Plans.
Develop an all-year-round programme of activities that include weekends.
Support the development of funding bids and tenders that are co-designed with residents and sustain or create new range environment and physical activities and services at the Eco Hub, and other Association sites.
Develop, maintain, and manage appropriate management information systems, paying due regard to confidentiality - including creating and updating records, monitoring progress, and producing reports in line with funding requirements and for internal use to support project risk management and project evaluation.
Develop and maintain partnerships to further develop our services and help to support families and vulnerable people.
Support WLCA to seek and sustain opportunities such as a Forest School that generates financial viability and sustainability of the Eco Hub through addressing social, educational, and environmental needs.
Participate in a range of community activities, meetings and events which support the work of the Flourishing Communities Team, as well as support and promote the wider work of the Association.
Support educational sessions with individuals and families to increase and sustain biodiversity in their own homes and surrounding areas.
Deputise for the Head of Operations, and other Flourishing Communities colleagues, as required.
Work closely with families and local Family Hubs which gives access to a range of different support to families, including, provision of activities in the summer and half-term weeks.
