Job Description

Kingston University London is seeking to appoint an Estates Project Manager to lead and deliver capital projects on the Kingston University Estate. This is an important role within the Estates and Sustainability Team, focused on delivering the University's ambitious sustainability goals through operational excellence, collaboration, and innovation.


With a background in construction project management, you will be responsible for delivery from inception to completion of a varied portfolio of university wide projects that will include construction, building infrastructure and services projects and energy management projects. Most projects will involve refurbishment of existing space. You will work to in-house processes for project management and document control, for which direction will be provided.

The successful candidate will be a construction professional with knowledge of UK building construction, design and project management. They will have the ability and relevant experience to deliver projects within agreed parameters of design quality, cost and programme.


You will possess strong project management, communication, and organisational skills, and be able to work collaboratively while delivering tangible improvements across a complex and evolving estate. This role will appeal to someone passionate about implementing change that will make a difference to our students and staff.

Estates & Sustainability sits within the Finance, Infrastructure and HR Directorate and exists to support Kingston University's academic mission and the goals set out in its strategic plan. It leads on strategic planning, capital development, space management, operational sustainability, energy management, and biodiversity management, as well as statutory compliance and operation of the campuses and premises used by the university. It provides direction for the operation, facilities maintenance, and management of the estate by KUSCO - a wholly owned subsidiary of the University.

This is a full time, permanent position with a starting salary of 45,025 per annum.
