Job Advert: Executive Assistant (Construction Industry)



We're looking for a highly organised Executive Assistant to support the day-to-day running of our construction business. The role will involve managing key office processes, supporting the team on site and in the office, and helping to ensure projects run smoothly from enquiry through to completion.

This role will be

a minimum of 30 hours per week

. It will be

remote initially

, however some site visits will be required from time to time -- particularly to help gather content for marketing, social media and the website.

You will play an important role in the financial and operational side of the business, so accuracy, discretion and attention to detail are essential.

What the role will involve:



Managing expenses and processing timesheets through to payroll Handling basic accounting queries and liaising with our accountant where required Responding to new enquiries and incoming leads Preparing and sending quotes and invoices Tracking payments and updating records Streamlining and improving administrative processes and systems General day-to-day office administration and support to the team

Desirable (but not essential):



Managing social media accounts and posting updates Assisting with marketing campaigns and email communications Updating the company website Creating basic content such as posts, photos or short project updates (site visits may be required)

What we're looking for:



Previous experience in an administrative role (construction or trades industry beneficial but not essential) Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail Confident working with spreadsheets, email and basic accounting or invoicing software Comfortable communicating with clients, suppliers and team members Able to prioritise workload and work independently where required Professional, friendly and proactive approach Trustworthy and able to handle confidential and financial information
We are based in York and primarily work across the wider Yorkshire area.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 14.00-20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
