We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional dining experiences while managing kitchen operations efficiently.
Duties
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications and customer preferences.
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that food production meets quality standards and is delivered in a timely manner.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective teamwork and efficient workflow.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Assist in menu planning, including the selection of seasonal ingredients and innovative dishes that reflect current culinary trends.
Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
Implement food safety protocols to guarantee the highest standards of hygiene are maintained throughout the kitchen.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry minimum 3 years experience.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead kitchen staff effectively.
Creativity in menu development and presentation of dishes.
Experience in costing dishes to GP margins.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact positively with colleagues and customers alike.
A passion for culinary arts and commitment to continuous learning within the field.
