KOKA is an independent, family-run restaurant in Fulham serving fresh, vibrant Mediterranean dishes inspired by Greek and Italian traditions. We are known for our

, handmade pasta, and grilled dishes. Our kitchen focuses on quality ingredients, traditional techniques, and warm hospitality.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a

skilled and passionate chef

with solid experience in

Italian cuisine and pizza making

. You will be responsible for preparing and executing a range of Italian dishes, managing your section, and contributing to menu development in collaboration with our Head Chef. You must be confident with pizza dough, pasta, and grill techniques and be able to maintain consistency and quality under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook Italian dishes including fresh pasta, risottos, sauces, and traditional mains Lead pizza preparation, including dough handling, stretching, topping, and cooking Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning Maintain a clean and organised kitchen area and comply with food hygiene standards Support kitchen operations during busy service and coordinate with front-of-house Monitor food stock and assist in ordering and waste control Help train junior kitchen staff and share skills Contribute to seasonal menu updates and daily specials

Requirements:

Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar role Strong background in Italian cuisine and pizza making (sourdough experience a plus) Excellent cooking and knife skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety procedures Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: 16.00-19.00 per hour
