Job Description

I'm looking for a warm, reliable person to join our family as a Family Assistant. This will start as a trial so we can see how it works for everyone. The right person will help with the children, the home, and keeping life organised.

About the Role

Days: Mainly when I have my two children (school age) this rotates every two weeks one week be Monday, Thursday, Friday when I have the children and the following week being Monday, Friday, Saturday Sunday. Hours: Support will usually be needed in blocks around school times rather than all day Focus: Childcare, cleaning, laundry, and household organisation
Responsibilities

School runs in the morning and/or afternoon After-school care including homework, meals, and evening routines Cleaning, laundry, tidying, and keeping the house running smoothly Household organisation such as errands, food shopping, and helping me stay on top of tasks Walking the dog or taking the children out for activities when needed

Warm, maternal, and great with children Organised, proactive, and happy to turn their hand to different tasks Trustworthy and dependable with a positive attitude Someone I naturally get along with and who is easy company for me and the children
Practical Details

Part-time trial to begin, likely 2 to 3 days per week every other weekend when the children are with me Support usually needed for the school run and after-school through evening Based in wakefield Must drive for school runs and outings Pay 14 per hour to start, with hours confirmed after the trial
