o Processing invoices through Xero and sending to clients
o Sending statements of accounts to all clients and client credit control
o Bank reconciliation
o Expense reconciliation
o VAT preparation
o Processing of supplier invoices
o Preparation and execution of monthly payroll including pension and PAYE/NI submissions
o Responsibility, coordination and contribution towards all fiscal reporting activities for the business including organisational revenue and expenses including balance sheet, cashflow, P&L forecast reports
o Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard the financial assets of the business
o Analyse performance of all third-party providers (e.g. suppliers, payroll, pension etc) to ensure optimum efficiency
o Supporting the business in delivering legislative processes e.g. annual accounts, external auditors, tax and legal advisors
o Lead key projects to increase efficiencies, productivity, and cost savings
o Work with the Managing Director on the strategic vision; monitor, provide updates and alternative solutions on the implementation of strategic plans
COMPETENCES
o Ability to problem solve and present operational and strategic skills
o ACCA qualified with relative experience is a preference
o Strong communication with a values driven approach
o Personal efficiencies, time management skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands
o Strategic and business-driven mindset and ability to align business strategies with financial priorities
REQUIREMENTS
o A background in Finance, Accounting or Economics and experience with progressive responsibility in a Finance Department
