Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests while ensuring efficient service. Your role will involve engaging with customers, assisting them with their needs, and supporting the kitchen staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, showcasing your upselling skills to enhance their experience. Provide assistance with menu selections and answer any questions regarding food safety and preparation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and dining spaces. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records using basic maths skills. Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed promptly during busy periods. Assist in training new staff members in hospitality best practices and restaurant operations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills with a friendly disposition to help create a welcoming environment. Basic knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure. Time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours. A passion for culinary arts and an eagerness to learn more about food preparation techniques is desirable.
