Job Description

:

The Front of House Supervisor is responsible for leading the shift in the restaurant, bar and lounges, working closely with the kitchen team, reception team and the duty manager to ensure that we meet and exceed the expectations of our staying guests and daytime visitors.

Essential Functions:

Leading the team in the restaurant, bar and lounges, to ensure that everyone understands their role and responsibilities, and to ensure that the team pulls together to deliver the best customer experience Duty Manager shifts. (overnight sleep in 30 extra) Setting up all areas for food and beverage service to the company standards, ensuring cleanliness, attention to detail and a positive guest experience Greeting guest and visitors, creating a friendly and professional first impression Taking guests' food and drink orders, and offering menu recommendations and up-sells Ensuring that all guest needs are met, and additional needs are quickly identified and addressed Working with the duty manager and/or reception team to resolve guest concerns Performing other duties as assigned by management

Required Skills:

Customer service focus in front of house role with strong hospitality skills required. A friendly and welcoming personality, and an enthusiasm for engaging with customers. Ability to multitask while performing a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong verbal communication skills required; ability to effectively interact with staff, guests, and vendors. Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; must be open to work weekends when needed; must be able to work extended hours as needed to meet guest needs; must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing priorities High standards for hospitality service, including cleanliness, neatness, and readiness of service as well as food quality and beverage presentation.
