As a Fryer, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes while ensuring food safety standards are met. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of fried foods according to established recipes and standards.
Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring that all team members are performing their duties effectively.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of cooking supplies and communicate needs to management.
Requirements
Proven experience in food production, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong culinary skills with a focus on frying techniques and food preparation.
Previous supervisory experience is highly desirable, demonstrating effective team management abilities.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to ensure compliance in the kitchen.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
A background in hospitality is advantageous, showcasing an understanding of customer service principles.
