Job Description

We are looking for a part time Games Master to join our team at our award-winning Escape Rooms in Newport. The Games Master will be responsible for delivering a high standard immersive experience, operating our games and guiding teams by offering hints when necessary.

Duties



Facilitate game sessions, ensuring all participants understand the rules and objectives. Ensure health and safety is adhered to at all times Engage with guests to create a welcoming environment, providing exceptional customer service throughout their experience. Monitor player progress and provide hints or assistance as necessary Carry out basic maintenance of props and game elements Maintain the cleanliness of the Escape Rooms and facilities

Requirements



This role will be primarily weekends and holidays, so availability during these times is essential Previous experience in customer facing roles Previous Games Master experience is desirable, but not necessary as training will be provided Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and communicate effectively with diverse groups of people. A passion for Escape Rooms, with a willingness to learn about various gaming formats. Ability to think on your feet during a live game and troubleshoot any potential issues that may arise Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by game schedules. Ideally you will be based in or around Newport City Centre

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week
