The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in gardening, horticulture, and landscape maintenance, along with proficiency in using hand and power tools. Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance tasks on buildings and grounds, ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various maintenance tasks.
Assist in landscape maintenance activities, including planting, pruning, and general gardening duties.
Monitor plant health and provide care as needed, leveraging growing experience to enhance the environment.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain accurate records of hours worked at different houses
Skills
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for maintenance tasks.
Experience with irrigation systems, including installation and repair.
Preferably a background in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance but training can be provided through team members
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and initiative.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
A passion for maintaining outdoor spaces that contribute positively to the environment.
Driving license preferred in order to come to across Ribble Valley, although local pick up and drop off can be arranged for the right candidate.
Punctuality is essential in this role
