Your new role
Here at Hitachi Rail, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Global Travel and Expense Lead to join our Global HR Shared Service team. As the Global Travel and Expense Lead you will hold responsibility for establishing operational plans in accordance with the business strategy and developing and implementing new processes and operations that will have impact on the achievement of functional results.
This is a great time to join our company as we have recently gone through a large acquisition and we're in the middle of integrating and harmonizing operations, therefore there's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to harmonizing the operations in travel and expense area to contribute to the business.
This position requires strong communication skills as you will be working with multiple stakeholders across various regions internationally, alongside influencing and supporting your colleagues within the Travel & Expense team. Flexibility to work outside of normal office hours may sometimes be required in this role due to time zone differences and the ability and willingness to travel internationally (on occasion) is essential.
