We are seeking a skilled and passionate Grill Cook to join our culinary team. As a Grill Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that each dish is cooked to perfection while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled foods, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards. Maintain food safety and hygiene standards throughout the cooking process. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including marinating meats and chopping vegetables. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management. Clean and maintain cooking equipment, utensils, and work areas to ensure a safe working environment. Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols as required.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that exceed customer expectations.

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour
