An established group of care-focused organisations is seeking an experienced
Group Human Resources Manager
to join their senior leadership team. This is a pivotal role, shaping the People Strategy and driving organisational culture across multiple sites in London, the South East, and Eastern England.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will lead a high-performing HR team and play a central role in developing inclusive, values-led workplaces that support both staff and young people. This is a varied and impactful position, overseeing everything from organisational development and succession planning to payroll, policy, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary HR team.
Drive cultural transformation, wellbeing, and leadership excellence.
Collaborate with senior leaders to embed values and strengthen performance.
Oversee HR policies, payroll, workforce planning, and succession strategy.
Provide evidence-based insights through HR metrics and reporting.
Ensure regulatory compliance, including safeguarding-related records.
About You
Proven strategic HR leadership experience in a complex organisation.
Strong track record of developing people strategies that deliver results.
Excellent influencing, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
Organised, detail-focused, and able to manage competing priorities.
CIPD Level 5 (essential), Level 7 (preferred).
Knowledge of the children's residential care sector is advantageous.
Ideally with some experience of working CQC audited environments
Based within commuting distance of the South East/East Midlands, with flexibility to travel.
