We are seeking a versatile and reliable Maintenance Person to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving various aspects of our property and facilities. Responsibilities

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs across the property, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance person tasks Identify issues and perform necessary fixes promptly to minimise downtime or inconvenience Assist with installation of fixtures, fittings, appliances, and equipment as required Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations Liaise with contractors or specialists for specialised repairs or projects beyond general maintenance person duties Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and supplies used Respond efficiently to urgent repair requests to ensure operational continuity

Qualifications

Proven experience as a maintenance person or in a similar maintenance role Competent in basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and general repair skills Ability to read technical manuals and interpret diagrams or instructions Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive attitude Relevant certifications or licences (e.g., electrical or plumbing qualifications) are advantageous but not essential Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while prioritising tasks effectively
