About The Role:

To assist in the maintenance department and carry out repairs or general maintenance of our buildings.

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing:

A handyperson's day-to-day job is extremely varied and could see you painting a wall one day and cleaning a ceiling fan the next or on rare occasions unblocking a toilet. It ultimately depends on where you are working. Some of your regular duties could include:

Ensuring fixtures and fittings are in good working order, including changing light bulbs Minor plumbing and carpentry Clearing and/or cleaning general areas Moving and/or assembling furniture or equipment Painting and decorating Clearing litter from around the exterior of the property Maintaining property exterior and gardens through the different seasons Footpath maintenance and gritting Liaising with multiple departments

When You'll Be Working:

You will be working 40 hours per week between Monday to Friday, with start time negotiable.

A Few Things About You:

Possess a good range of DIY skills along with basic plumbing and carpentry Familiar with using power tools Comfortable working at height Able to resolve problems quickly and efficiently and adhere to health and safety Able to manage time effectively Being resourceful, flexible and self-motivated Able to work as part of a team but essentially working alone Possess good communication skills Helpful and friendly demeanour
