The Role:
As Head Chef/Kitchen Manager here at Nineteen, you'll be the backbone of our kitchen, responsible for preparing and delivering flavourful dishes. Your key responsibilities will include:
Cooking & Preparation: Handling all aspects of food preparation and cooking, ensuring every dish meets our quality standards.
Kitchen Operations: Managing day-to-day kitchen operations, including stock management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness.
Health & Safety: Ensuring the kitchen meets all health and safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
Menu Execution: A menu that features burgers, pizzas, breakfast, and lunch options, all while maintaining consistency and customer satisfaction.
Customer Interaction: Occasionally interacting with guests to get feedback and ensure satisfaction.
Working Hours: 4 long days, Thursday to Sunday, with 3 days off very week! (except bank holidays)
About You:
We are looking for a chef who is passionate about creating simple, delicious food and enjoys working in a small, dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have:
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a kitchen, particularly in casual dining setting.
Culinary Skills: Strong cooking skills with a focus on delivering high-quality, flavourful dishes.
Independence: The ability to work independently and manage kitchen operations efficiently.
Flexibility: Willingness to adapt and help with all aspects of running a small kitchen.
Customer-Focused: A friendly and approachable attitude, with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
