We're looking for a proven and driven Head of Social Media to take the reins of our growing social team and lead it into its next phase of growth. With a department currently made up of highly capable Senior Social Media Executives and Social Media Executives, this role calls for someone who's ready to step into a true leadership position, providing strategic direction, mentorship, and hands-on support across both paid and organic campaigns.
You'll lead the charge on overseeing and delivering high-performing, insight-led social media strategies for our clients, whilst also collaborating closely with our internal marketing team to shape our agency's own social presence. From TikTok to LinkedIn, reels to remarketing, you'll understand how to make content work hard, and how to help others do the same. All whilst playing a key part of mentoring and growing you team of Senior and Social Media Executives.
This is a pivotal hire, with the opportunity to build upon what's already working while elevating the department to new levels.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Direction
Lead, support, and develop a growing team of Social Media Executives and Senior Executives.
Set clear goals, performance standards, and development plans for the team.
Drive the overall direction of our social media service offering, ensuring best practice, consistency, and innovation.
Be the central point of contact between social and other departments including design, content and internal marketing.
Provide senior-level strategic input on client accounts and act as a quality control layer across campaigns and reporting.
Client Strategy & Delivery
Own the strategy and oversight for a range of B2B and B2C client campaigns across both paid and organic channels.
Oversee campaign planning, content calendars, community management, social listening, and reporting.
Optimise content and campaigns to drive reach, engagement, and conversions, across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and Pinterest.
Work closely with our paid media team to align paid social strategies with broader performance goals.
Ensure campaigns are grounded in data and insights, using tools like Meta Business Manager, Google Analytics, and platform-native analytics.
Internal Social & Agency Growth
Work closely with our in-house Marketing Manager to deliver consistent, creative, and strategic social media content that represents our brand.
Be a key voice in shaping how our agency is positioned on platforms like LinkedIn and Instagram.
Identify opportunities to elevate our social proof, case studies, and thought leadership content.

What You'll Bring
5+ years of hands-on experience in a social media role, with at least 1 to 2 years in a leadership or management role.
Strong understanding of paid and organic social media strategies and tools.
Demonstrable success in planning and delivering multi-platform campaigns that drive measurable ROI.
Experience working within an agency or multi-client environment.
Confident people manager with experience mentoring and developing junior staff.
Skilled at briefing creatives, collaborating with designers, and working cross-functionally.
Excellent copywriting, campaign planning, and reporting skills.
Up-to-date knowledge of social trends, tools, and platform algorithms.
A proactive mindset, a positive attitude, and a hunger to grow.
