Hire Desk Controller

Job Description

We're looking for a Hire Desk Controller to join our busy Leeds depot. You'll be the first point of contact for customers, handling hire enquiries, and keeping everything running smoothly.

What you'll do



Handle customer enquiries by phone, email, and face-to-face Process hire requests, extensions, and off-hires Keep accurate records and contracts up to date Follow internal procedures Support workshop/yard teams with equipment availability

What we're looking for



Experience in hire desk, logistics, or customer service Strong communication & organisational skills Ability to work well under pressure IT skills (hire systems/MS Office) Plant hire knowledge (advantage but not essential)
